Pay My Bill

Attention

The United States Postal Service is lengthening its standards for the time it takes to deliver the mail, which could delay the delivery of your Santee Cooper bill and your payment by a couple of days. This may result in a late fee if your payment is received after the due date. To avoid this, we encourage our customers to pay fee-free with your checking account information using MEL.

Santee Cooper offers a variety of payment options for your convenience. Our most popular payment feature is paying your bill fee-free by registering your account in My Energy Link (MEL), our customer self-service website.  Making a one-time payment (+ convenience fee) is another popular choice, which lets you quickly pay your bill without needing an online account.
Included with the bills each month, we publish residential and commercial bill inserts for special announcements, programs, rebates, and more to help our customers stay in the know about Santee Cooper happenings.  Don’t miss out on the latest updates. You can find the latest bill inserts here.

Budget Billing

Budget Billing

Make monthly expense planning easier with Budget Billing. Pay the same amount toward your electric bill every month.

Santee Cooper will review your past electricity use and project your average bill for the year. Your meter will still be read every month as usual and your bill will show the actual number of kilowatt-hours used each month.

We’ll review your usage at the end of the year and if needed, settle the difference and adjust the next year’s average bill amount.

Send us an e-mail to see if you qualify.
